Seven models made up the Mighty series in 1992. They were models #93901 Mighty Dump, #93905 Mighty Mixer, #93909 Mighty Tow Truck, #93908 Mighty Bulldozer, #93920 Mighty Loader, #93926 Mighty Crane and #93931 Mighty Backhoe. There were no new models. Deleted after only a one year life span was the #4920 Mighty Construction Hat.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: Finally, new graphics appeared on all 1992 models.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: To differentiate ALL Tonka branded products manufactured under Hasbro's new leadership, model numbers changed from four digits to five by adding the number "9" as the new first digit. Thus, model #3901 Mighty Dump in 1991 became a #93901 Mighty Dump in 1992.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: New "SUPER-WIDE" tires replaced the Mighty balloon, popularly known as the XMB-975 tire, on the #93901 Mighty Dump, #93905 Mighty Mixer and the #93909 Mighty Tow Truck. Note the "SUPER-WIDE" hub is solid. In a couple of years, slots will appear at the back of the hub.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: The Mighty balloon, XMB-975 tire, was still used on the #93920 Mighty Loader, #93926 Mighty Crane and #93931 Mighty Backhoe. However, the white roll coating was deleted. Blackwall tires were back.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: Model #3908 Mighty Power Treads of 1991 was renamed #93908 Mighty Bulldozer in 1992. And there was a color change, The yellow blade and yellow tread drive wheels changed to black.
