CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: In 1978, Tonka created a new series named Play People. Tonka took trucks from their various series like the Compact, Regular and Mighty, added action figures and a new series was born. Three Mighty trucks were snatched and moved to the Play People series and in the process, lost their association with the Mighty series. They are still Mightys at heart and will be presented as such. In 1978, model #3875 Para-Medic Unit, #3885 Winnebago Camper and #3956 Utility truck were part of the new Play People series. Not to worry. In four years Play People will become a memory.
