Continuing on in 1973 were model #3900 Mighty Dump, #3902 Mighty Hydraulic Dump, #3906 Mighty Dozer, #3910 Mighty Roller, #3915 Mighty Wrecker, #3920 Mighty Loader, #3930 Mighty Shovel, #3935 Mighty Scraper, #3938 Mighty Bottom Dump, #3940 Mighty Crane, #3945 Mighty Grader, #3950 Mighty Cement Mixer, #3990 Mighty Car Carrier, #4002 Mighty Loadmaster and #4006 Mighty Construction Set. New for 1973 was model #3885 Mighty Winnebago. There were no models deleted.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: The new MR-970 tire with white roll coated letters and numbers was used the #3885 Mighty Winnebago, #3930 Mighty Shovel, #3940 Mighty Crane and #3990 Mighty Car Carrier.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: The new XMB-975 blow-molded tire with white roll coated letters and numbers, was used on the Mighty Dump, Mighty Hydraulic Dump, Mighty Loader, Mighty Scraper, Mighty Wrecker, Mighty Roller, Mighty Mixer, Mighty Bottom Dump and Mighty Grader.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: All Mighty truck cabs feature the new SCUFF-GUARD bumper/grille made of shock absorbing plastic with four pressed into place, white "headlights"
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: #3990 Car Carrier changed from all yellow to white cab wrap and trailer with red roof, saddle tanks and chassis.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: The "Steel" logo was deleted from both sides of the Mighty Scraper bowl, both sides of the Mighty Car Carrier trailer and both sides of the Mighty Hydraulic Dump bed.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR: The cab decal on the #3915 Mighty Wrecker changed from "mighty Tonka Wrecker" to "Mighty Tonka"
