For 1965, the Mighty Dump was assigned new model #2900. Joining the Mighty Dump was model #2940 Mighty Mobile Crane as featured below. Both models began the year on the same black rubber tires as found on the 1964 Mighty Dump. Early in the 1965 model year, a new injection molded, 2 piece, heat sealed plastic TX-500 tire replaced the much heavier rubber tire. Also new in 1965 was model #2905 Mighty Clam. The Mighty Clam would run again in 1966 then be retired from U.S. production.

You can't see it in either of the catalog scans but the oval Tonka logo label is adhered below the front of the operator's cab on both the Mighty Mobile Crane and the Mighty Clam.
