One of a kind, made for the Webmaster at the Tonka factory in El Paso, Texas in 1997, the Mighty Dump above left has no equal. The standard one-piece chassis/grille is one of two that were vacuum metalized gold for an engineering project that never got off the ground. The tire hubs are vacuum metalized silver. The hubs are not the standard Mighty hub but what Tonka called their radial hub. It was used on a few pickup trucks Tonka made during the era. All steel surfaces are black powder paint.
The 1991 special order power line trucks offered an opportunity for the Webmaster to be creative. The Mighty Dump above right used the roof, cab wrap, chassis, windshield, seat/dashboard, steering wheel and bumper/grille that were all manufactured in 1991 to support the power line project. The Webmaster added a freshly bead blasted dump bed and the then new SUPER WIDE tires. All painted surfaces are powder coated. No need to worry about the wheel well to tire clearance issue. This dump is for show only.

The Mighty Dump above right, is an indicator of what happens when the Tonka factory had more time than orders to fill. One of the last trucks to be painted and assembled in the El Paso factory, this red Mighty Dump was run in very small quantities for Tonka employees. The red paint and white hubs were standard issue for model #90219 Mighty Fire truck that was one of the last models run before the factory was gutted and crated for transport to China.

The white Mighty Dump above left, was put up for bid on eBay in mid June, 2012. Alberici Constructors is a diversified construction company headquartered in St. Louis, MO USA. It is not known at this time if this featured Mighty Dump is a one off, if it commemorates anything special and/or if it was an award of some type. The Mighty Lowboy and Dozer was also on eBay in late 2011 or early 2012. This awesome rig has multiple LEDs front and rear for a truly enlightened (pun intended) custom look.
